What exactly are you trying to do? There are programmable universal TPMS sensors that can be programmed to work like a NCV3 sensor. Those take a tool, often from the sensor manufacturer to program them and maybe help relearn on the vehicle. I don't know if there is anything like that for the official NCV3 sensors that are not programmable.

There are tools that wake up the official NCV3 sensors so the vehicle can relearn them without having to drive.

I would guess the right scanner can read the TPMS sensor data. I don't have ones from Mercedes, so can't confirm that.

So, which of the above are you trying to do?

Mark Yeah, so post tire, sensor and wheel change, nothing works. I've tried the normal reset procedure but that's not working either. According to VDO, the sensors have a lock mode that has to be disabled and I was hoping that I could find a tool that would do that. So far, no luck. I'm going to retry the reset later tonight and see if I can get that to work. So, I'm down, but not out yet.
