Water is pumped from the feed tank into the pressure vessel and heated sufficiently to become saturated steam, typically between 6 and 10 Barg, based on the pressure controller, making steam available for various processes.
Advantages of Electric Steam Boilers
There are several reasons why electric steam boilers may be preferable over fuel-fired steam boilers. Many believe electric boiler operation may be more cost-effective over time and potentially more environmentally friendly.
