Molex KK® 2.54 Connector
The KK 2.54mm Pitch connector is a robust solution by Molex designed for PCB wire-to-board interfaces. It features vertical headers and a straight friction lock that ensures secure mating and retention, making it ideal for applications in harsh conditions characterized by movement. The housings are made from red UL 94V-0 plastic, boasting high strength, rigidity, toughness, and abrasion resistance—an optimal choice for automotive and electrical/electronic industries.
This 2.54 series is compatible with the Cross Molex Connector Series and supports up to 3.0A AC/DC. It's available in configurations ranging from 2 to 20 positions, accepting wire sizes from 22 AWG to 28 AWG, with a polarized feature to prevent any misalignment between the harness and the header during mating.
Molex SL' Modular Connector
The SL Modular Connector System includes high-temperature LCP headers that can undergo reflow processes, enabling automated termination on PCBs. AMP543 2.54 Pitch Connector
The AMP 2.54 Pitch connector is designed for IDC receptacle mass terminations, eliminating the need to strip wires through its dual beam cavities for IDC contacts. These connectors are stackable and feature molded housing ribs which prevent reverse mating while remaining fully polarized. The lubricated contacts are protected against corrosion, enhancing durability.
Offering a choice of contact configurations ranging from 2 to 32 positions, these connectors support 2.5A per contact for wire gauges of AWG #28 to #30, making them ideal for mass termination applications.
